Best travel purse. You can adjust the straps to carry the backpack across your front to ensure items are secure when travelling internationally, and this also meets Art Gallery regulations too. The design/shape – pyramidal – makes the pack very roomy despite its small size. In the main compartment, I can fit my Canon SLR (perfectly), travel umbrella, wallet, and a small lunch. Rain poncho fits in zippered rear pocket. Top and bottom zippered pockets good for everything else.

just want to say – i hv used this as a medium size backpack purse & taken it to Europe for 7 wks + Cuba for 2 wks. It fits an amazing amt of stuff, even a tall size paperback or my iPad mini – it is very easy to gain access to the pockets – the zippers slide super easy (but stay secure/closed as needed) & there is a full length pocket in the back (which lies against yr back) where I keep my wallet for security. Something about the various small details of the design make this bag SO easy to use. After all this use, it looks as good as new – & believe me, I am a picky person. I have the olive color, wld prefer more stylish colors that don’t make me feel like a forest ranger. I wld love to see other colors or cute patterns. Before this I used the Dak— Cosmopolitan backpack purse for years, but this one is easier to work with.

This is the best little backpack I’ve ever had. It’s the perfect size for travelling -with plenty of different compartments. It’s a bit expensive, but I’ve had mine since 2014 and it’s still in good shape. I just throw it in the washer when it needs cleaning and it comes out like new.

I use this as my backpack purse for everyday and for travel. Holds lots. However, there is a design flaw with the top grab handle…the stitching gives way and this was not a problem in its predecessor, which has been discontinued for perhaps two years. After only three months, when the stitching gave way, I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. The same thing happened in about the same amount of time with the new one, hence my conclusion that it is a design flaw. I have had reinforcing stitched by a cobbler and it seems to hold now. This bag needs reinforcing stitching from the company and not something that costs me $20 at the cobbler’s three months after purchase. I never had any problem (owning two bags 11 + years from 2007 to 2018) with the similar nylon back pack that Derek Alexander sold before this new design. I would love to see the previous design brought back by Derek Alexander.

Love this bag! I have bought both colors and used them interchangeably for years. They’ve worn like iron. They are not huge but I can carry a small water bottle, cell phone, wallet, tissues, power bar and other items. Finally, this is the perfect purse for someone who has narrow shoulders: no more slipping straps!

I love this backpack! I’ve had the khaki version for over 10 years and the quality is great. I have taken it on every international vacation/work trip each year. The dainty size is feminine with the triangular shape and it holds a ton. Small, lightweight sweater, phone, etc. The size zip is brilliant as it can stash paperwork or things you want to keep out of the main compartment. Thank you for this fabulous bag. There is nothing on the market like it. Kudos!
